| Case studies: 4MC are to roll out with DVS DigiFRAMESTOR's, these will be installed into there Telecine suites and will be used to capture scene changes for colour correction. 4MC have been evaluating the DigiFRAMESTOR and the DigiEMULATOR (video & audio version) for the past 3 months in with great success. Every time the we installed the DigiFRAMESTOR into a different suite it worked, just plug and play!
The DigiFRAMESTOR comes with 2 hours of uncompressed storage, but with it's caddied hard disk drives we are able to easily swap out the drives to increase capacity or instantly change project. If you intall it into a Digi BETA edit suite it thinks it's a Digi Beta, if you install it into Telecine suite it thinks it's a Digi Recorder and with it's easy to use operating software and all the plugins it's so versitile. It looks great, performs incredibly well, the editor's and engineer's love it. But best of all, there are no on going servicing costs says 4MC's Adrian Bull. |
