DVS DualBLADE HD

The DualBLADE HD is the latest digital video player from DVS to join the Blade Technology range of products. This is one of the most powerful and advanced player on the market today with many outstanding features.

The DualBLADE HD is a small playback system that delivers fantastic video and audio to broadcast standards. With full 1080p HD resolution utilising many video codec formats, the DualBLADE HD provides a powerful statement for delivering media rich content. Now high quality Advertising, Branding, Public Information videos and images can be delivered in a controlled way at a touch of a button.

The BladeHD has a high quality resolution scaler engine this enables video and images to be up or down scaled to suit the resolution size of the screen or projector. This feature can be employed to great effect in the digital signage arena. Now smaller resolution/file size videos or images can be sent quickly over the internet then increased in size using the onboard scaler engine. This dramatically increases delivery speed and reduces bandwidth usage, this is so important in large deployed retail estates.

The BladeHD is controlled by BladeRUNNER software. There are three versions of software that power the BladeHD, these are;- BladeRUNNER HD Lite, BladeRUNNER HD and BladeRUNNER HD WEB.

• BladeRUNNER HD Lite software provides all the functions to setup and control BladeHD’s as a standalone HD player over a network.

• BladeRUNNER HD is a more advanced version of our control software. It expands on the BladeRUNNER HD Lite software, having a slightly different interface with additional features giving more control and flexibility to BladeHD’s. The BladeRUNNER HD Software is aimed at users who have a good understanding of BLADE technology and want to become more creative with their BLADE HD’s. In more complex and demanding conditions BladeRUNNER HD Software allows the user to control multiples of BladeHD’s to playout video in sync over a network.

• BladeRUNNER HD WEB software provides multi-cast content delivery from corporate "mission control" or third party locations via ADSL, WAN and LAN. This software is user friendly giving the operator freedom and flexibility to administer and manage the BladeHD's within an estate from any location using network or internet access. Flexibility of control is key to the BladeHD, with the ability to communicate via TCI/IP, RS232, OSD, contact closure and IR remote control. Storage capacity for HD is not an issue, the BladeHD can store video clips on either 2.5" PATA or SSD Drives.

BladeRUNNER HD Lite and BladeRUNNER HD are both application based software packages.

The BladeHD is only 215Lx156Wx38Hmm in size and can be installed using visa mounting or rack mounted using an additional 1U rackmount panel. This 1U panel will accommodate two BladeHD's.

Designed, developed and built in-house, the BladeHD looks and performs like no other digital signage/display product.

Latest Development Now Released......Video Synced Playback

BladeHD’s can frame accurately video sync to each other through a hub or over a network. This means any number of BladeHD’s can be synced into play groups over a network to create an exciting HD visual experience.
